Real Time System คืออะไร?

              Real Time System คือระบบที่ตอบสนองกับเหตุการณ์ที่คาดเดาเวลาที่จะเกิดไม่ได้ ด้วยวิธีการที่เตรียมเอาไว้แล้วสำหรับเหตุการณ์นั้นๆ ซึ่ง Real Time System ใกล้เคียงกับ embedded system มากโดยมีส่วนที่สื่อถึงสิ่งๆเดียวกัน
ตัวอย่างอุปกรณ์ของระบบ Real Time System เช่นเครื่องโทรศัพท์ , เครื่องหยอดเหรียญต่างๆ เช่นเครื่องหยอดเหรียญตู้น้ำ, ไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ ( Microcontroller ) สำหรับเครื่องซักผ้า, แอร์, ไมโครเวฟ เป็นต้น
